*Yet another day of study, study and yet more studying. We were informed today that we can actually complain if a teacher only uses powerpoint slides to teach and doesn't ask questions but just get us to do homework and hand in. Well, I have some teachers in my mind already. Who? I shall not say. What if they call this 'flaming'? It's better to be safe than sorry.
*I think the most abused name in LA lessons is 'Steffi'. I believe that many Elliotions will agree with me on this. The LA teacher seems to leave calling my name so much, that if I were calculative(I'm not), she would have said it more than 10 times per day. I'm seriosly considering whether I ought to chnage my name. Hmmm... Maybe I should. I mean, I was just looking at something else while she was talking, and then she suddenly called my name. I was playing attention, just not looking at her. And there were more people noy paying attention whose names she did not call. It isn't fair. Hmph. I wonder how long I will have to endure this. Perhaps until the end of Year 1. Haiz. 8 more months to go...
*I'm doing my LA The Good Earth 2-day Diary now. I chose to write O-lan's, because she appears in the book quite a bit, and I can 'hear' more of her talking-writing tone than the other characters. The first day of the diary, I chose 8th September 1925. Why 1925? Because we were not supposed to choose any dates after 1931, the year The Good Earth was published, and as O-lan died long before that, I chose that year. 8th September? Well, I don't know why. It simply just came into my mind at that point in time. The second say's 12 September, 6 days after the first entry, the day O-lan's eldest son is to be married. I've only finished the first day, doing the second day later. Now I'm going to play Maplestory for a while. I just re-downladed it, so I can play now. Can you believe me if I said that I have been playing for close to 3 years, and I'm still level16? No? I understand.
