`*~Yours For Life 2006...Success!~*`
*Hello! Yesterday was HRSS's Yours For Life 2006 event. If any on you read my earlier post, you would have known. Anyway, it was quite successful. Many people went, and quite a few rabbits, I think, are to be adopted. Three cheers for all volunteers and rabbits, hip hip hurray! Hip hip hurray! Hip hip HURRAY!*I'd brought Eveie there, too. She smelt all nice and looked quite pretty(defintition of a 'pretty rabbit': beautiful fur, slender, adorable etc.) after her grooming session. Then I saw that she looked so bored in her carrier, so I put her in the playpen with some other rabbits for adoption. Bad idea. Many people came up to pat Eveie. I think some even had the intention to adopt her. One of the HRSS adoption volunteers asked me to take her out. All in good time, too. So back went Eveie, into her carrier. Then Juliana(T&E's Granny's sister, aka Their Grand-aunt) said I could put Eveie in the other playpen, with the non-adoptable bunnies. So I did. However, it seems that she wasn't too welcomed there; one bunny went to bite her eye-lid. Haiz. My poor Evieie-bun. Thank goodness it isn't anything serious. Hope she won't get a scar. *After that, I just left her on the colouring booth's table, with two other little rabbits(Eveie isn't what you can call 'little'). And now comes the praiseworthy part about Eveie. Many kids came to pat her, a guy around Primary 5, I think, even carried her. And all through that, she lay down patiently on the table. Isn't she good? Yes, I think so. I didn't know she had in her to be so enduring. Or maybe she was just too lazy to move. But I'd rather think of her as calm and composed rather than slothful. Hahas.*I'm not going to leave out Toppy, of course not. He stayed at home because I was quite sure that he wouldn't like going out, being patted and hugged. But I think I'm bringing him the next time if there are grooming services. His tail area looks so eurgh. Hahas. *This coming Thursday is 4 schools. I'll be in 20 by 100m. And I'm kind of nervous, too. I really want to get a medal. I hope that the people in my team can run fast, and can pass the baton okay. But the toher relays are more impotant, of course. Goodluck to Suqin, Melissa, Ophilia, Shiying, Yuhding, Sean, Kuanliang, Jianfeng, Wenxin and anyone else who is participating on that day! Jiayou!
