`*~Glorious Sunrise~*`
*Like what I told Suqin and some others on Friday, if my legs didn't hurt, I would go skating at 6am all the way to East Coast park. Don't sTaRe at me, I haven't gone mad or anything. Yups, I know that 6am is early, but what better time to go, if I want to see the sunrise?
*But there was a catch: I had to go with my dad, for safety resons. Well, it was quite fun with him. I woke up at 5.15am that morning, changed up, put on my skates and waited for him to get ready. Then I skated wihile he brisk-walked all the way to ECP. I think we arrived around 6.10am. The sun wasn't even up yet, so we went all the way to the Macdonald's side. We stopped at a breakwater, but didn't get onto it because of my skates. Before long, we could see that the clouds in the South(Or rather, the North, depending on how you see it) were rose-tinged. It was a pretty sight, but not the real thing. While we waited, Papa started taking photos and I helped, too. Time passed again and soon, part of the sun was up, only that it was cloud-covered('tis pity 'tis true). However, the sight was glorious by itself. The golden rays were shooting up from beneath the clouds, and you can actually see the rays as
rays-they were broad strips of yellow.
And the
azure blue sky(I've heard this phrase common enough in P4 compositions) was drenched in rose-pink, clear-orange and yellow. I think it's worth it to wake so early just to see
this. I think I'll do it again this Saturday.
*Last night, I read until 2am(Shhh... Don't tell my parents) . Once again, don't sTaRe, gAPe or make any reactions linked to 'looking in surprise'. I'd got a new book from Kinokuniya with 20% off. It's 'The Forestwife' trilogy. I read the first two parts within 4 hours(10pm to 2am) . Three cheers to me. This is another of those Robin Hood linked books. The protagonist is Marian. Nope, if you're thinking that this Marian is the noble lady Robert(Robin's called this in the book) fell in love with, you're partially wrong. Yes, he loves her, but Marian was called Mary de Holt only at the beginning. Parties interested in reading The Forestwife, please feel free to ask me.
If you don't look forward to today, think of the next day. It helps. Just keep your body and wits with you, your mind can be off in 'tomorrow' already.
