`*~Changed.Everything.Changed{2}~*`
*I'm touching this issue again. 'Change'. The first and most obvious is the constant change of my blogskins. Most of you regular readers may have known that I don't keep skins for more than 2 months or so, hence my blog's address. I really like this current skin; It's based on Twilight, using the Lion and Lamb as figures representing Edward and Bella, from this book. I'm currently crazy(not literally, of course) over Twilight. RE: `*~The Crow~*`
*Today, I went back to my beloved Tao Nan. I realised that once you've left something, or someone, it won't be the same, as when you're absent, the things, or person change. For example, I hadn't expect to see so many changes(I'm going to repeat this word throughout this whole entry) done to the school compound. The Taonanites' PE uniforms are
very different now. The Prefects even have a (somewhat ugly) shirt with 'PREFECT" printed on it. It's rather eye-jarring. The canteen's painted pink. Several teachers aren't who they were before we left TNS. I don't recognise many of the kids there now. The most awful realisation today was knowing that when we'd left, the lives of the teachers in my old school didn't exactly end there and then, to be continued only when we returned. I know that I'm not talking sense here; I'm supposed to have understood that a long time ago. Yes, I do understand that, but it's after this visit that makes me finally
know. Makes me know that I don't belong to Tao Nan anymore, even though she still occupies a rather-large part of my heart. I can keep returning, but I won't ever be oneof the Taonanites, no matter what people say about Tao Nan being a home to us, forever. It's not possible for me, anymore. But I shall continue going back to visit Miss Koh, Chenzi and some others there, just not as often. I guess this is why most seniors don't return to their Primary schools after the 1st or 2nd year.
*Also, my ex-classmates aren't what they were. The greatest change is with the guys, I suppose. Some are much, much taller. Others have changed their hairstyles. The girls, too. Though change can't really be seen by their appearances, you can tell, from how they talk, how they react to the things you say, how they treat you. Wait... What's the point of saying all these? I can just conclude with one sentance: Everything changed. No?
*On a happier note(the above wasn't pleasant. 'pessimistic', Huiying would say), today's Teachers' Day celebration
was
wunderbar. The most interesting being the Freeze-dance game. The MCs invited a big bunch of teachers, which included the Principal, Mr Ng, our Mr Tan, Miss Wee and lots others. Mr Sng and Mr Ng were the funniest of the lot. They did some grappling thing, and when the music stopped, they had to freeze, both ended up in a rather wierd stance. Hahas. I didn't know that our Dunmanian teachers could be so funny. There were 3 dancing groups, too. The SCs have a done a good job this time, decking the hall so nicely, though the best was on Fusion Night, which was done by the Year Ones, I think. That was even nicer, with the campfire and all.
*Okies, I'm going off to do some more productive stuff now.
Tcheuss!
